Welcome Sunset

I'd like to tell you a little something about my writing, but first, a quick introduction.

Evacuated from London during WWII, I was brought up by my Auntie May in the beautiful county of Devon, England. In time, I married and raised three children in Truro, Cornwall. I loved sailing and the sea and together with my husband, we built our own various boats.  We started with a dinghy and ended with a 32' sailing sloop.

We sailed the English Channel, holidaying as a family in various ports in Brittany, the Bay of Biscay and the Channel Islands until we emigrated to Australia. Now, retired from business affairs and the family expanded to include six gorgeous grandchildren, I have the time to spend on writing.

For my fiftieth birthday I flew a light aeroplane in the skies over Perth. For my sixtieth I climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge with my daughter. See pic below.

For my seventieth, wouldn't it be great if I could publish a book?

These days, most of the time you'll find me huddled over my computer, creating murder and mayhem. Like Dick Francis with his horse-racing background, I set my crime around boats and rivers, where I feel at home.
